The 2023 Election Season 

The 2023 Election season begins with our town Caucus. It will be held on June 20th, 7:00 pm at St. Augustine’s. 57 Main Street, Highland. A caucus takes the place of a primary. All registered Democrats within the Town of Lloyd are invited to come. You may nominate a candidate for office at the caucus, Candidates that are nominated have a few minutes to introduce themselves and talk about their vision for the position they are running for. Then all registered Democrats in attendance get to vote for their favorite candidate. This year we will be voting for local elections for County Legislature, Town Supervisor, Town Council, Town Justice, and Highway Superintendent. Once winners are declared, they are officially the nominees for the race in November. Please join us and take part in this important democratic process that keeps our government running.
